Henk Newenhouse, Ph.D., will gladly officiate your wedding.

He is recognized to legally perform wedding ceremonies in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota. He has officiated at more than 450 weddings.

During a pre-wedding visit in Henk's Merry Farm home he discusses all the pertinent details with you and learns from you whether you wish to include your parents and/or your children, whether you would enjoy a candle ceremony or a wine or rose ceremony, how you wish to be presented, whether you look forward to a serious or a light hearted or a romantic ceremony and much more. You will have ample opportunity to bring up your special requirement or fantasy.

After this visit, Henk will draft a personal ceremony for you and mail it to you in hope that you will react with suggestions for change and/or improvement.

A second or even third draft will follow. When the ceremony has been approved by you, Henk will memorize it and deliver it word by precise word.

If desired, Henk will also assist you in the writing of a press release for your local newspaper and take a picture to accompany the release. Officiating includes the press release and a picture.
